Welcome to the Augustus Society web site.
The Augustus Society is a nonprofit organization of Las Vegas professional men and women of Italian American heritage, dedicated to improving the education, well-being, and positive image of Italian Americans.
The Mission of the Augustus Society is to provide college scholarships to needy Italian-American students in Clark County with academic abilities; assist Italian-American families or individuals with personal hardships, and continuously promote a positive image of Italian-Americans. Formed in 1983, the society has awarded over 450 scholarships and awards, totaling nearly $750,000 in funds awarded.

Please note that this is the last general membership meeting until November. In September, we will be holding our annual members only meeting at the Italian American Club. In October, we will be hosting the Columbus Day Ball at the Orlean's hotel. Also, at the August general membership meeting there will be an open session for nominating candidates to serve on the Board of Directors.

The Augustus Society welcomes tax deductible contributions to its scholarship program. Individual and corporate contributions are acceptable. If you are interested in sponsoring a full scholarship in your name for $2,000; or if you wish to make a donation to the scholarship fund, please forward your contribution payable to the Augustus Society Scholarship Fund, P.O.
